The Millennium is an important period of time for you to understand. The word Millennium means 1,000 years. The return of our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ. Jesus will begin the millennium. And there will be a great deal of teaching and a larg nimber of souls saved during this period. In fact, many that consider themselves saved today will soon worship the Antichrist.

They that have never been taught the truth will have the opporunity to follow Jesus Christ or Satan at the end of the millennium. On the first of the millennium we will all be changed into our Spiritual bidies (1Corinthinas 15:52-53). So lets see what God;s word has to tell us about the Millennium.

Revelation 20:1-2 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

I believe this angel will be Michael. Satan will be literally bound during the millennium. He will not be allowed to infuluence anyone, until the end of the period.

Revelation 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations nomore, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Why would Satan be loosed? Some will stand against antichrist at the end of this dispensation and be justified at that time. Many that believe the rapture theory will be deceived and worship antichrist. God is fair. Satan will be loosed a little season so those that have been taught the truth during the millennium will have an opportunity to be justified.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

The justified will not have received the mark in their mind or have done the work of antichrist with their hands.

Revelation 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Those that worship antichrist will be spiritually dead throughout the millennium. They must be tested and justified at the end of this period. Those that are justified before the millennium begins, take part in the first resurrection.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The second death is the death of the soul as it is written in verse fourteen of this same chapter. The second death will have no power over those that take part in the first resurrection because they have already been justified.

Revelation 20:7-8 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8.And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Gog and Magog repesent all the nations that come against God. Yes, even at the end of the 1,000 years, Satan will still have great numbers that choose to follow him instead of Jesus.

Revelation 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

The beloved city is Jerusalem. This is were the millennium temple will bebuilt as is described in the book of Ezekiel. The full Godhead will return to earth at the end of the millennium.

Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Satan is promised in (Ezekiel Chapter 28:18), that God will bring forth a fire from the midst of him that will devour him. Satan will be turned to ashes forver.

Revelation 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

There will be no place for those that oppose. He that sits in the white throne.

Revelation 20:12-13 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.13. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

The sea is the people (Rev.17:15). Those that are spiritually dead must be judged and will have the opportunity to be justified. They will be judged only by their actions during the millennium, not their faith.

Revelation 20:14-15 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.This is the second death.15.And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Praise God. Satan and those that choose to follow him will be destroyed forever. There is a great deal concering the millennium written in the book of Ezekiel. Lets turn there.

Ezekiel 44:15 But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my
sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:

"Zadok" in Hebrew means "the just". We are talking about those that are already justified. The Zadok keeps God's word and do not go astray whoring after antichrist.

Ezeliel 44:16-17 They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my
table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge. 17. And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.

Only the Zadok will be allowed to approach Jesus during the millennium. The linen garments worn by the Zadok must be earned in this dispensation. These garments are made of the righteous acts of those that earned them. ( Rev.19:8).

Ezekiel 44:18-19 They shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with any thing that causeth sweat.19And when they go forth into the utter court, even into the utter court to the people, they shall put off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments; and they shall not sanctify the people with their garments.

The priests will not wear their righteous acts in the outer courts in the presence of others.

Ezekiel 44: 20-21 Neither shall they shave their heads, nor suffer their locks to grow long; they shall only poll their heads. 21. Neither shall any priest drink wine, when they enter into the inner court.

God's way is moderation. The Zadok will not shave their heads or grow their hair long. They will not drink wine in the presence of Christ.

Ezekiel 44:22 Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away:
but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that had a priest
before.

Think spiritual. There will be another wedding after Christ returns to His bride. The next few verses tells us of the tremendous rewards for the Zadok. In my opinion they are the most precious promises God makes.

Ezekiel 44:23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

The Zadok will teach God's children the truth. God's children will have eyes to see and ears to hear. This will be a wonderful time of teaching.

Ezekiel 44:24-25 And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it
According to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths. 25.And they shall come at no dead person to defile themselves: but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister that hath had nohusband, they may defile themselves.

These dead persons are the same as we discussed in Revelation. They are spiritually dead. This scripture documents we will be able to recognize our loved ones in spiritual bodies. In fact, the Zadok may only go to their immediate family members in an effort to straighten them out;however, there is a price.

Ezekiel 44:26 And after he is cleansed, they shall reckon unto him seven days.

The Zadok will not be allowed to approach Christ again for seven days, even after having been cleansed. Jesus Christ wants nothing to do with those that are deceived by antichrist.

Ezekiel 44:27 And in the day that he goeth into the sanctuary, unto the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering, saith the Lord GOD.

The priests that defile themselves for a family members will also have to pay a sin offering. I can't help believe their concern and compassion will still please Christ. The Zadok will be able to afford the sin offering. Now listen this,

Ezekiel 44:28 And it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I am their inheritance: and ye
shall give them no possession in Israel: I am their possession.

Are you able to comprehend this? Almighty God will be your inheritance, if you are among the Zadok. Godowns everything and He is the possession of the elect. Thank Him often for those promies. What happens after the millennium? The eternity begins. That is a different subject foe a different time, however, in closing. Lets turn back to Revelation for a brief description.

Revelation 21:3-4 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
